TUBC Blockchain & AI Workshop
TUBC sponsored this workshop where we learned about what blockchain really is as well as how AI is changing the world. We discussed how a decentralized system is created, how someone would prove ownership of something that is a part of blockchain, as well as lawsuits that are coming up due to AI companies using other people’s data for machine learning. I found everything in this meeting to be interesting as it was a discussion on current events in the tech industry, which relates to my career goals because I may end up working with AI one day; however, regardless of what my future job is, it is good in general to stay informed on these subjects.
