Biography of Dina Lichtman
Dr. Lichtman is the founder of DLS Coaching LLC where she advises clients on strategic business and human resource issues, including career management and transition, executive coaching and change management. Her coaching practice encompasses corporate leaders, scientists, physicians, financial executives, and men and women in new leadership positions. She has been very successful with executives in increasing their emotional and social intelligence. In addition, Dr. Lichtman has worked with the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, as a coach in their High Potential Executive Education program. Dr. Lichtman has coached and trained hundreds of individuals on performance enhancement, assimilation into new and merged cultures and emotional intelligence. She has coached leaders who are already successful as well as leaders who need additional skills in reducing dysfunctional behaviors. As an executive coach, she has worked one-on-one with individuals addressing issues of self-awareness, public image and the trigger mechanisms involved in behaviors that are success-building; improvement and enhancement of presentation and platform skills; the development of strategies to anticipate behaviors and reactions and others; the ability to understand and implement quality relationships within teams and organizations and the ability to recognize success in a specific culture. Dr. Lichtman holds a doctoral degree in Adult and Organizational Dynamics from Temple University, and is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. She also has a coaching certificate from the Coaching Certification Institute. In addition, she has a graduate certification degree from The National Training Lab (NTL) in Bethel, Maine in individual and group processes, and a White Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma. Dr. Lichtman has worked with executives as a coach helping in corporate areas involving performance enhancement, communication skills, assimilation issues, emotional intelligence, and leadership development. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of KidsWhoCare.com in Phoenix and is retired from the Work First Foundation, a not for profit working with homeless veterans She also sits on the Board of Directors of the Work First Foundation, a NGO that provides services to veterans, the homeless and ex-offenders in obtaining employment. She is very active with UBUNTU Education Fund for the Children of South Africa as well. Dr. Lichtman teaches at Temple University in the Fox School of Business, MIS Master’s Program and is a coach for the Wharton MBA program at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Association of Women Entrepreneurs, the American Psychological Society, the Phila ICF division and The Healthcare Business Women’s Association. Dr. Lichtman also writes a column on Personal Development for Smart Enterprise Exchange and on line magazine for CIOs.
