UnitedHealth Group – Full Time
Let me tell you what a blessing it is to have a full-time job lined up right after graduating. I will starting employment as a Senior Technology Development Program Associate with UnitedHealth Group’s Horsham, PA office at the end of June. This office’s main focus is Medicare – D. UnitedHealth Group serves 85 million customers worldwide in health benefits and services and is ranked number 14 in Fortune 500. This is the first year the Horsham office will be bringing in recent graduates for UnitedHealth Group’s Tech Rotational program.
While I will be working for UnitedHealth Group, the company actually has 5 divisions; I will working in the company’s Optum division. Optum is one of the largest health information, technology, services, and consulting companies in the world. UnitedHealth Group’s Tech Rotational program falls under Optum. In this rotational program, I will spend 13 months experiencing different job opportunities; 6 months in one analyst position and 7 months in another analyst position. Based on my interview, the company could place me into the position of a business analyst, product analyst, or systems analyst. As of right now, I am not sure which two positions I will experiencing but at the end of my 13 months I will pick the position I enjoy the most to work full-time.
