Like the others, I don’t see this product as being a fitness tracker market disruption. The pairing and data analyzing with IBM Watson though I think is a great idea and would be extremely useful to medicine and other health fields. Recently in the healthcare field, analyzing health data and the overall population health has risen in popularity,…[Read more]

Wow, this is shocking and pretty amazing to me. I think participants didn’t realize they were getting biased results because they probably assume Google’s algorithm is an inherently objective piece of technology. I know most of the time I assume Google shows me just the most popular links. Unlike something like facebook’s algorithm that we know…[Read more]

This interesting technology. I think Samsung has made a great business move by offering free VR headsets with a purchase of their new phone. By offering it with their newest phones they would be spreading VR use more widely among consumers, and more specifically, probably among the early technology adopters or early majority, who would spread the…[Read more]

This is pretty amazing technology and sounds very superior technology to what we have today. When its cost becomes more affordable and comparable to hard drives, I can see every organization replacing their hard drives with 5D storage since they would never need to replace their storage again. Data centers would also be altered and set up to be…[Read more]

From a cybersecurity point of view, this product would be good for companies to invest in since it has the ability to see unauthorized services running and the risk score from the organization. As more of a companies operations and data take place over the cloud, it will be of even greater importance to discover where security is weak there.
    I’m…[Read more]

I also plan to do the same.

This semester I learned a great deal about project management, especially from the documentation required for the different phases of a project that our group had to create. With this, I also liked seeing the variety of ways different PM groups created and setup these PM documents during our class studios. I think one of the most important things…[Read more]

This week we helped revise the BAs documentation (scope, business rules, and use cases), as well as continued to revise and polish our own documents. The BAs had a run through of their presentation this week and have just a few finishing touches left on their prototype so both of our teams are almost entirely done with the project.

This week we met with the BAs again to discuss the feedback their professor gave them and give our input as to their next steps. They are doing very well timewise with their prototype and are already preparing for their final presentation.
We also revised our deliverables and created a header to make them look uniform. I worked on updating the…[Read more]

Last week we completed the critical path diagram as a group and this week we will work on professionally formatting and revising our previous deliverables. We also met with the BAs to give feedback on their prototype. We showed them how to embed videos in the software and how to use the data masters, events, and variables in JustInMind to populate…[Read more]

With the exam this week, the PMs did not work on the deliverables besides minor updates. However, we did follow up with the BAs to ask how they were doing. We reviewed and gave feedback on the use case they provided us.

Since no project deliverables were due this week the PMs took a break and just looked over past deliverables for any edits that needed to be made. We tried contacting the BAs for updates through Groupme but to no avail yet.

This week we finally got to meet with the BAs to check up and advise them on their project and next steps. A group chat was created with everyone to keep in contact. Us PMs later met up as a team to work on the deliverables due (the RACI chart, list of stakeholders, and org chart), which we completed quickly.

This week I helped prepare our status update presentation and reviewed the email we sent to our BAs about the lack of communication, which they responded to.

This week I met with the other PMs to go over and finish up our deliverables due (communications plan, risk management plan, change management plan, and quality management plan). After sharing deliverables with other groups on Thursday, we made a few modifications to our documents.

This week two of the PMs attended the interview with the BAs. However, we were not able to have a seperate meeting with the BAs yet. I met with the other PMs where we discussed a different approach to get the BAs to meet with us and how we were to work on/divide the upcoming deliverables.
