The two LinkedIn learning courses I completed are “Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization” and “Microsoft Project 2016 Essential Training.”
Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization:
In this course I was taught the fundamentals of design thinking. I had never been fully exposed to the concept before, so it was interesting to learn about applying design thinking to drive modern solutions and effective problem solving. This course also talked about leading change in an organization while using design thinking methodologies which was also very interesting. Overall, I gained a whole different way to look at organizational issues as well gained information on how to lead change even when not in a position of authority.
Microsoft Project 2016 Essential Training:
This course was an in-depth introduction to Microsoft Project and it’s interface. I learned how to create projects, manage timelines, define tasks/resources/timelines and many other things about the software. I also learned how to use Gantt charts as well assign resources, manage costs, and track progress.
