MIS 3535: Lead Global Digital Projects: PRO Point Submission

LinkedIn Learning Video 1-

Microsoft Project Essential Training: The Microsoft Project essential training course provided me with an extensive, step-by-step, opportunity to become familiar with the project management software. The course taught me how to set up project components, such as, tasks, summary tasks, milestones, recurring tasks, and how to effectively carry out a project holistically by leveraging the software. This software is a powerful tool, and with the knowledge of the fundamentals, I can now begin to implement the various agile methods that professor Martin has taught me this semester in MIS 3535: Lead Global Digital Projects

Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization: The lead change in your organization course provided me with the fundamentals of design thinking, leading design thinking, guiding creative collaboration, and making to advance thinking. While completing this course I was able to draw many parallels between this course and professor Martin’s lectures from MIS 3535. I was able to relate the see-feel-change concept that we related to the stories from The Heart of Change by James Kotter. The course provided a framework for effectively communicating change, how to establish a creative work environment, and the various tactics that are involved in an iterative cycle to ensure the team is on track.
