Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Cindy Leavitt

  1. Title of the activity: Digital Leader Fireside Chat: Larry Dignan
  2. Term of the activity: Spring 2021
  3. Name of sponsoring organization: IBIT
  4. Details of the activity (e.g., where, when): Zoom, 01/27/2021, 12pm-1pm
  5. What you learned: Learned about how Leavitt uses the Agile approach at Temple University to help develop their beliefs and decision making at Temple University. Agile would be a flexible tool that builds a foundation to help teams decide on better software development. There are also principles of Agile that teams can look at to consider where they want to focus on their efforts.
  6. How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals: By learning about and understanding more about Agile. I could help bring this knowledge into both my academics and the workplace. By learning about these beliefs and standards, I could set a leading example for my peers and coworkers on what we should and should not be doing. I believe that going into a role of software and development it would be very useful as well.
