Thinkful Webinar | Beginners Guide to JavaScript: Array

  1. Array, Objects, and Loops, Oh My!
  2. Spring 2020
  3. Thinkful Webinar
  4. Online through the site \\\”bigmarker.com\\\” on 1/13/2020 from 9 PM est to 10:30 PM est.
  5. I was able to learn how to understand and manipulate data using Javascript. I learned about JSON, XML, objects, loops, and arrays. I learned that JSON is simply an easy way for javascript to read data and that XML would usually store data. I learned about variables in my MIS 2101 class and how to do loops, but in the webinar he went a bit more in depth with the topics stating how there are 7 data types and how for, while, and do while loops work. With objects I learned that they work through key value pairs and that arrays are lists and that order will always matter when coding arrays. The webinar gave us some projects to work on and showed us interactive examples to do with the instructor!
  6. The coursework related to me because I believe learning how to code JavaScript would greatly benefit me in case my future classes would involve it or my future jobs. Learning how to code JavaScript more efficiently, elegantly, and at a more proficient level would allow me to add it onto my resume as a skill.

Below is a code the instructor did with us during the webinar!
