- What you learned: I’ve learned the major differences between AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. AWS offers over 500 services and is the standard right now for cloud computing sources, while Azure is easier for enterprises to integrate because most companies now already use Microsoft services, and Google Cloud is heavy on data development space (DevOps) and has a more developer-centric/focus. The scalability of cloud is also a huge pro because it allows companies to fit their needs on-demand whether it be locally or globally.
- How the activity relates to coursework or your career goals: Taking a cloud architecture course recently I think this topic was heavily related because in the course we learned a lot about AWS and its services. For example, we learned about how to scale projects especially with elastic load balancers and auto-scaling groups. For my career goals, I plan to get certified in AWS and hopefully apply my knowledge of the cloud into real-world scenarios.
