Full Time Offer – Grant Street Group
I am happy to report I have accepted a full time position with Grant Street Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For about 20 years, Grant Street Group has developed software platforms to make governments work fore efficiently. Grant Street Group hosted the world’s first electronic bond auction (MuniAuction), first online tax lien auction (MuniAuction), first successful web-based tax collection and billing system (TaxSys).
Additionally, the firm has developed an online payment processing software, Payment Express, that is an online payment processing software, tailored to the needs of government entities. Payment express works as both a complement to TaxSys and MuniAuction, and as a standalone product. Municipalities will implement Payment Express to digitalize payments for items such as dog licenses and traffic violations.
I will be working on the Payment Express team as a business analyst. In this role, I will be utilizing the skills I have developed as an MIS major to elicit and gather requirements for implementations, test development software, and assist in troubleshooting existing clients.
I am excited to get into this role, as it is different than anything I have done before. During my time as an MIS Major, I have held very technical positions with both Merck and Dorman Products. In this role, I will have to combine my systems thinking with understanding both the product and the business goals of our clients. In doing this, I will be able to provide both Grant Street Group and my clients the most thorough solutions when it comes to implementing and troubleshooting Payment Express.
