Level Up: Python
I completed the “Level Up: Python” LinkedIn Learning course taught by Barron Stone on April 24th, 2023. This course compiled a collection of bite-sized challenges which prompted me to create my own solution before the instructor showed his solution. I enjoyed the way this course was laid out, as it was more hands-on than other courses. Some of the challenges included finding prime factors, identifying a palindrome, sorting a string, scheduling a function, simulating dice, solving sudoku, etc. It was slightly difficult since I do not have much experience with Python. The only Python experience I have is from learning how to read it in Data and Analytics, and taking a Technical Development Workshop. This is a coding language that is not deeply engrained in Temple’s MIS curriculum, so I thought this would be a great start to learning it myself! I think Python will be extremely useful in my future career, especially if my job works closely with it.
