Thinkful Webinar: Intro to Data Analytics (Excel Basics)
I attended the Thinkful: Excel Basics Webinar on February 17, 2023, which went over Microsoft Excel 101. It first discussed the best practices and common applications of Excel in the industry, as well as the typical skillset of a data analyst. It further demonstrated some practical, hands-on exercises that would be applicable to data analytics. Although I have extensive experience in Excel through my courses here at Temple (Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Excel for Business Applications), I don’t use it as often as I used to. However, it’s always good practice to touch upon previous skills and refresh my brain on the toolkits that may become more present in my future career.
