Senior Director of Sales

The Professional Sales Organization (PSO) seeks to develop sales excellence in students by teaching consultative negotiation, personal influence, and effective communication techniques that will allow students to create solutions and build meaningful business relationships. In addition, PSO aims to foster high quality leadership development in students through opportunities in the organization’s management team.

As PSO’s Senior Director of Sales, I teach members the fundamental principles of the selling process through properly introducing oneself, identifying needs, presenting a proper solution, effectively and efficiently handling objections, and closing a sale. Additionally, I organize PSO’s weekly Negotiation Series, which pits members of PSO against one another in mock sales settings. I assign teams to compete on specific dates and create prompts for the competitions. Furthermore, I construct and instruct Sales Seminar meetings every Friday at noon. During Sales Seminar, I provide in-depth lectures on the sales process, and compose group activities to prepare members for sales competitions within Temple and across the nation.
