In a highly regulated business like a company in biotech or pharmaceuticals, SCM is more important because in order to have a good customer relationship you have to have perfect traceability and regulation of the supply chain or your customers wont buy from you. However in most other industries this CRM is more important.

Netflix to me is one of the most interesting innovations in the last few years, particularly their online streaming capabilities. It developed a whole new market which allowed movies and television to be seen through the same thing. Also content is readily available as soon as you log in. In the business I work at it is very important that data is up to date between departments. The most common problem we have is inventory being taken out and not accounted for somewhere else.
