The main point I would make is that when making decisions in the workplace, especially as a manager or someone that has an effect over multiple divisions of the company, that you need to keep all the pieces in mind. The big take away in the class has really been to be able to identify all areas that are being affected. Now when I think about a…[Read more]

David A Ventura commented on the post, What is Knowledge Management?, on the site 9 years, 11 months ago
Knowledge management is like doing an arts and craft project in pre school. First you need to know what the teacher wants you to make. Once you know that you have to figure out where to get your crayons, your glue, your scissors, and your paper. Now your teacher may tell you that you need to share the supplies with others. David A Ventura commented on the post, Discussion Question: Agents, Publishers, and Self-Publishing Options, on the site 10 years ago
As many of the others have said, agents and publishers will still be relevant. I do think that that relevance will dwindle as time goes on as accessibility goes on. What I mean is that with all the resources available to us via the internet nowadays a lot of the old fashion ways are becoming obsolete. For instance you can create a startup company…[Read more]

One of my favorite apps is Spotify. It is a music app that lets you search by artist, song, etc as most do. The beauty of spotify is two fold. First, you can create a custom radio station based off a song and spotify will play other simialr artists and songs. Since I have started my new job I find it very hard to research and identify new bands…[Read more]
