Sachin Shah says
Hello class. My name is Sachin Shah, but everyone calls me Sach. I am hoping to graduate eithe this Summer or Fall 2018 with a MS in Cyber Security. I have been working at Penn Medicine for over 12 years in a variety of roles in the IS department. I have been a systems analyst, project lead, and currently an interface developer. I do coding in what the industry refers to as middle-engine and in HL7 interfaces. I am looking to move into a security role and transition from a software\application\programming roles and into infrastructure and security role. This program is great as I now understand the network components and strategy and not only how it reflects security but the application structure as well.

Brock Donnelly says
Hello MIS 5209, I am Brock Donnelly. I am currently a Sr Tech at the Engineering College but I began my technical career in communications, specifically in audio engineering. Audio engineering eventually led me to Apple where I sold as a business consultant. I used my time at Apple to gain more technical skills. From there I secured an entry level IT job with a local arts college and progressed from there. Currently I handle all break/fix for the college as well as manage facilities needs and the student workers. We handle everything from OS installs and configurations to entire classroom configuration as well as the building technical infrastructure but NOT including the universities central network.
Kevin Blankenship says
Hello everyone,
I am Kevin Blankenship. I graduated Temple’s MIS program in 2016, and am expecting to finish the ITACS program summer of 2018.
I live in Phoenixville PA with my wife, and we are expecting our first child this January!
I have worked at QVC for 7 years across a variety of roles including applications developer, and am now a Security Engineer focused on Vulnerability management and controls testing. Essentially I scan and test our networks (internal and external), our developer code, and ecommerce website for vulnerabilities and work with Appsdev teams to remediate them. A lot of my work has to do with PCI DSS so there are many controls in place to work with.
Neil Y. Rushi says
Hi my name is Neil Rushi, pursuing a MS degree in Cyber Security graduating by hopefully Summer of 2018. I currently work at Verizon as a Fiber Solutions Analyst meaning I help customers troubleshoot their FiOS services – I have been working there for 5 months now. It’s fun as I talk to the seasoned agents and learn what they know. I did something similar with Comcast Business 5 years ago, the comparisons between Business and Residential are the same but also different which is good. I have my bachelor’s from Temple in Management Information Systems, graduating in September 2010. I hope to find a role within the security field either doing Cyber Security Analyst, forensics, hacking or a combination of both. I like being hands-on and facing a challenge.
