Cloud Architecture

Research two current topics on cloud computing and cloud application deployment that we have not covered extensively in class. Create a write-up and post it to your E-Portfolio on the Community Site. You should design the write-up to be a component of your professional E-Portfolio. The purpose of this assignment is to give you an outlet to display your ability to understand and describe an aspect of cloud-based architectures to your current and future employers.

During this project I was able to have a deeper understanding of the security that cloud computing requires, as well as the environmental impact leading to the development of Green cloud computing. I developed a better understanding on how these topics related to MIS 3406, and how they are used in the real world. This improved my knowledge within MIS greatly, which will help me with my future studies.

The goal of this project was to further our understanding of Cloud Computing and how Green Cloud computer as well as Azure are interconnected to each other as well as how they relate to our course material. As it turns out, Azure has many of the same services as AWS does just not as big of a scale and Green Cloud computing is something that can be integrated into both AWS and Azure.

1. The goal of this project was to briefly research two topics regarding cloud computing, and to create an outlet to display knowledge of cloud computing. I learned a lot about the future prospects of cloud computing, and how cloud computing will change in the future. I also learned about how cloud computing is constantly changing, and how we need to find solutions to new problems in the field. It is an interesting field that has many possible uses, and will continue to evolve in the future.

Goals- the main goal for this project was for the professor to understand that we understand what we got from this class. Some of the topics that he asked us to speak about was : big data, artificial intelligence, SQL, etc. there were many more topics but these were some that stuck out to me. I chose to speak about Artificial Intelligence because I wanted to get more knowledge as to how AI correlated to difference databases and how AI is important to us in todays society.

For this Data and Analytics project, students were expected to research a current Data Analytics topic and write a short overview of their topic, how the it relates to material discussed in class, and an real world example of how this idea is used in practice. After quickly researching many suggested topics, I was became interested in text mining and sentiment analysis and wanted to explore these ideas further. I learned what sentiment analysis is, the purpose and importance of this technology, and how it is applied in a business setting. I would love to experiment with and even work with  text mining and sentiment analysis in the future to learn more and become well versed in these topics. This project was for students to learn about a topic related to MIS that we did not have the opportunity to learn in class. I wrote about the topic of artificial intelligence and how that relates to data analytics.

The goal for this project was to analyze and research a topic based on Data Analytics. Upon further research on different topics, the Internet of Things (IoT) resonated with me as it functions in our day-to-day lives. As society advances technologically, IoT plays a major role in connecting all the dots for a better tomorrow. The system of interrelated, internet-connected objects can analyze, collect, and respond to data over the internet without human intervention. Many companies such as Google have started to roll out services of IoT due to its effectiveness in the workplace. Corporations have been seeing the importance of IoT as it reduces the cost margin for many operations, creating an efficient work structure. The Internet of Things is steadily improving and adopted into our lives and the corporate world.
