Having Ambition N’ Devotion for Service
As a volunteer for the organization titled H.A.N.D.S, I was an active member of the community of Philadelphia. Frequently we would visit a local daycare in North Philadelphia and participate in activities with the children, immediately bringing out joy in all of their faces. Hobbies included playing catch, tag, and hide and go seek. We also partook in educating them and informed them of Hispanic Heritage Month. Furthermore , we often cleaned up neighborhoods in the city to assure that our city was clean. It is important that Philadelphia establishes itself with a great reputation of sustainability and since this is one of my concerns, I really enjoyed being involved with this. Lastly we set up a Christmas Drive in the Liacorous Center and handed out gifts to the youth of Philadelphia that may not have been as fortunate. My time with H.A.N.D.S was unforgettable and I definitely was a better person afterwards.
