Coursework
As an aspiring product manager and an entrepreneur, I always love to develop my main skills, which include data analytics, programming, and project management and discover new areas such as cybersecurity and graphic design.
Here is some main coursework that I have studied:
Data Structure
In this class, I have learned about the object-oriented design paradigm more in-depth, understood and practiced different data types such as linked lists, binary trees, and queues in Java, and discovered sorting and searching algorithms. Since the class curriculum involves a lot of practical problems and applications such as building an encryption/decryption model or solving a maze, I really enjoyed the class.
Data Analytics & Data Science
This class taught me how to harness the power of data by understanding the ways it is stored and organized, analyzing big data set, and presenting data and insights in dashboards by using SQL, R and Tableau.
Cyber Security
This class has helped me explore modern methods of protecting data such as encryption, hashing, certificates, develop a security mindset, and learn how to identify, model, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Mobile Apps: Design/Prototype
This is one of the only few Arts classes that I took and it was interesting. I have learned the creative process of developing concepts for an app, conducting customers & competitors research, studying user experience, creating a wireframe in multiple iterations. This class was also cool because I had the chance to learn many popular design tools such as Adobe XD, InVision, and JustInMind.
Data-Centric Application Development
I really liked this course because the entire class involved the process of developing a rental web application that has both the client and the admin interface from scratch by using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSON, and XML.
