Data is a huge asset, even the smallest companies generate data . It impacts businesses in many different ways, and will affect a person regardless of their position in the company. I am majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. If I am going to go into this field after graduation, then good data would be imperative to my success.

I think decision trees can be used for many different things. I could use one for something as simple as what I am going to do this weekend. It would layout my possible options, such as going out or doing homework. The decision tree would explicitly lay put the possible outcomes of the choices I make.

Im majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. If I had to chose, I would use an E.R.D. because it is simple and easy to follow. The swim-lane diagram seems like it has a lot of unneccessary steps. However, I do not see myself using either in the future.

I am currently majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. However, I intend on obtaining an advanced degree in Mathematics, and if that is the case I do not believe MIS will fit into my career too much.
