I would have to say that the most disruptive innovations in the past few years were in the way that we pay. Everything from Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, and even the chip readers. Being an HR major bad data can have detrimental effects on my job. I have incorrect data about an employee, such as, their W-4 forms I would be making incorrect decisions. Being an HRM major I feel as if MIS will be very useful to me in my career. HR professionals are always using new and improving softwares to help manage employees. Learning about MIS will keep me ahead and might even help me provide helpful insight to software developers.
