Neuron Nectars’ organization type is IT as an Engine Room. Neuron Nectar is established as a central governing system, using IT to handle day to day operations (orders and inventory tracking), and is managed separately from the business; making IT operational and internal to the company.
Since we will be selecting an off-the-shelf inventory…[Read more]

Our project can be valued in several ways, most notably through Financial Measures, Risk, and Scorecard analyses.
In performing a scorecard analysis, the different functions of our application can be assessed across their relative value to customers, exterminators, and our company. In performing this analysis, we can better understand which…[Read more] -

Our project will be evaluated based on the “Project Risk” approach. The project risk approach evaluates several aspects of the project that may result in risk that is detrimental to the completion/success of the project. In addition, we will use several common financial measures to value our project.
Project risk approach includes:
Failure to…[Read more] -

Project Proposal (Revised): Our proposed application will be used as a heart rate and vital alert system on wearables or smart watches. This application can effectively replace the out of date Life Alert system in hospitals as well as with the elderly. Users…[Read more]-
I think this idea is more specific than the previous one. But. Have you done the due diligence on whether it has been done? Doesn’t fitbit already provide this feature? Are you saying elderly infirm users will be wearing and using a smartwatch? How would this be different from existing systems already used by hospitals?

Project Proposal:
Mobile App that allows video game users to find and connect to each other within a certain radius from their current position. Users can customize the range of the search, create a profile that lists what systems they use, list what their most played games are, and other personal information about themselves. When finding other…[Read more]-
This sounds interesting. However, don’t existing gaming systems already allow you to do this? I am not an expert but I have seen this feature in major multiplayer games like COD? I also recall seeing something like in the Wii. A more basic question is that why would people want this feature outside of a specific platform/game?

This sounds cool. Have you done the due diligence to make sure it has not been done before? (try searching the various app stores). How would this compete with say for example the Amazon ‘wish list’? Wouldn’t it make sense to do this part of an existing social platform such as Facebook? Given the low frequency of use of your data, why would…[Read more]

Our application idea involves the transformation of meal plan “swipes” in students’ university accounts to credits at local businesses, as a means of trade with other Temple University students, and as a way to make charitable donations.
Thousands of meal plans are issued to Temple University students,…[Read more]

The concept sounds interesting and viable. One challenge, will you require assistance from the university to get access to the account? If so, then there is a high risk if they say no. Further, the idea of integrating other systems is challengeing. Why not pursue some kind of token, virtual cash, etc idea? Or pursue only one or two vendors for…[Read more]
