Recognizing Excellence
Duke vs. Ohio State
As I sit watching ESPN, I can only notice that Coach Mike Krzyzewski of the Duke Blue Devils is truly a picture of excellence. What more can this man want? He has won multiple college championships and he has multiple gold medals from the Olympics. Year after year he puts together great players to form a team that works together. Some teams just draft great players, however he drafts players that know how to be team players and come together to play good basketball. Coach K puts together good teams, and he really values perfection. Looking at the unwavering run of the most recent USA Basketball championship, they were exceptionally dominant. Having such dominant personalities on his team, such as Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant, they all were selfless in the pursuit of perfection. I wish more people in this world had such a strive for excellence. Just some food for thought.
