MIS 2402 Final Project
During Spring 2026, I completed a special-purpose calculator project for MIS 2402 using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. I created a Baby Shower Budget Calculator that allows users to estimate the total cost of planning a baby shower based on the number of guests, food costs, venue costs, decoration expenses, and party favors. The calculator automatically calculates the total event budget and the estimated cost per guest. Through this project, I strengthened my web development and problem-solving skills while learning how to build interactive applications that validate user input and provide useful financial planning information.

Final Project- MIS2404
For this project, I created a special-purpose calculator with the help of AI. The purpose of my calculator is to calculate the amount of money spent on fuel. The trip distance in miles, fuel efficiency in miles per gallon(MPG), and Gas Price per gallon are used to calculate the total fuel cost for your trip. Those who use this calculator will be able to determine if traveling by car is the most cost-effective option for their trip.
The calculator was created with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and more. This project strengthened my skills in input validation, web development, and problem-solving.
Loan Repayment and Profitability Calculator
I developed both a Loan Repayment Calculator and a Stock Profitability Calculator as part of my coursework in MIS 2402 using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These projects involved designing and building interactive web applications that perform calculations based on user input. The Loan Repayment Calculator allows users to calculate monthly payment, total amount paid, and total interest paid. The Profitability Calculator takes users average win/ loss, and average profit/ loss, which analyses their average gain/ loss, risk-reward ratio, win rate, and overall profitability.
My role included developing the user interface, implementing calculation logic with JavaScript, and styling the applications to create a professional and user-friendly experience.
In addition to coding the applications, I utilized AI-generated prompts to help design the architecture and structure of both projects, which strengthened my understanding of how AI can support software development workflows and improve efficiency in application planning. Through these projects, I gained hands-on experience in front-end development, problem-solving, and integrating AI-assisted development techniques into the software design process. These experiences enhanced my ability to create practical, business oriented technology solutions while reinforcing the importance of clean design, functionality, and user experience.
Special-Purpose Calculator
For this project, I created two special-purpose web calculators using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. To begin, the first special purpose calculator was made through AI coding of which it built a loan repayment calculator based on a prompt I sent forth. This calculator was a loan repayment calculator that calculated monthly payments, total amount paid, and total interest based on loan amount, APR, and loan term. The second calculator was a custom Yearly Coffee Budget Calculator that helps users estimate how much money they spend on coffee throughout the year. Both calculators were tested for accurate calculations and proper input validation. It also implemented JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Bootstrap in order to allow the calculators to actually function properly. Student Performance Decision Tree
For my Decision Tree Project, I analyzed a dataset related to student academic performance to better understand the factors that influence student success. This project was completed as part of my Management Information Systems and Technology coursework at Temple University. Using Python, I built a decision tree model to predict student outcomes based on variables such as study habits, attendance, grades, and other academic indicators.
My role in the project involved cleaning and preparing the dataset, performing exploratory data analysis, building and testing the decision tree model, and interpreting the results. Through this experience, I strengthened my technical skills in data analysis, Python programming, and machine learning while also improving my problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. I learned how predictive analytics can be used to identify patterns in educational data and support data-driven decision-making. This project further increased my interest in technology, cybersecurity, and data-driven solutions within the field of information systems.
MIS 2502 PRO points Assignments
My assignment analyzes a shoes sales dataset, predicting the likelihood f customers purchasing the shoes. This included online, retail stores, and mall transactions. The analysis identifies patterns in customer purchasing behavior and helps businesses make smarter inventory/marketing decisions.
