I created a completely functional advertising website for Luxe Lashitude Lounge, a fictional cosmetic firm, as part of my Management Information Systems class. This project, which was funded by Temple University’s MIS2402 course, demonstrated my proficiency with HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript in front-end web development. With this tool, customers can quickly create customized promotional offers by entering promo codes, minimum spend requirements, and unique discount amounts. Along with emphasizing service options and implementing a responsive design for mobile users, I also organized the information to resemble a professional salon setting. I gained practical experience using client-side scripting to create interactive features, designing flexible layouts, and ensuring a seamless user experience while working on this project. It also made me realize how crucial it is to design with the user in mind, which has a significant impact on maintaining brand engagement.

Create a website for an imaginary business
Our assignment for the MIS2402 PRO Points Project was to design a multi-page website for a made-up business. We had to include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, and the website needs to have at least one interactive cost calculator
For my Project, I created a multi-page website for an imaginary business called Pixel Ice Cream. It is hybrid gaming café and ice cream shop. The website includes multiple pages (Home, About us, Menu, Gaming info, and a calculator). It also features images, links, and business details like hours, services, and pricing.
One page contains an interactive cost estimate calculator that lets users input the number of scoops, shakes, and gaming hours, along with selecting a package type (basic, deluxe, premium). The calculator uses several pricing values based on the bundle selected and automatically determines the overall cost based on the user’s preferences. Upon clicking the “Calculate” button, the user’s total is updated.

Indigo Trans: Logistics Service Website
I developed a business website called Indigo Trans, a fictional freight and transportation company, as part of my coursework for MIS 2402 at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. The website features a freight cost estimator built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. I handled the entire project, including designing the layout, coding the interactive features, and making the site user-friendly. Through this project, I strengthened my skills in web development and front-end design. This experience helped me better understand how web technologies can support business operations and improve customer engagement.
Plant & Play Cafe Website
This project encompassed the creation of a multi-page website for the fictional “Plant & Play Cafe,” designed to inform users about the cafe’s concept, services, and contact information. A key interactive component of this website was the development of a dynamic party rental cost calculator. The initial HTML structure for the calculator was provided as part of a class assignment, which I then expanded upon. I implemented the interactive elements and cost calculation logic using JavaScript (leveraging jQuery) and styled the entire website with CSS. Throughout this development, I utilized online resources and consulted with my professor to ensure code accuracy and efficiency, particularly in implementing robust error handling within the calculator for user input.
My role involved taking the provided HTML for the calculator and building out its complete front-end functionality. Additionally, I was responsible for creating the other three informational web pages (About, Services, Contact) to provide a comprehensive user experience. For the calculator, this included writing the JavaScript to capture user inputs, perform cost calculations based on selected packages and hourly rates, and dynamically update the displayed costs. A significant focus was implementing input validation to handle non-numeric, zero, or negative entries, providing clear feedback to the user. This project, including the interactive calculator and the informational pages, enhanced my front-end web development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating both static content and dynamic interactive elements, while also emphasizing user-centric design and effective error handling.

Mind & Muscle Gym: Web Development Project
This project involved creating a professional, multi-page website for an original business concept, Mind & Muscle Gym, a fitness center that integrates physical training with mindfulness. The purpose was to apply web development concepts learned in class while gaining experience in planning, designing, and implementing a realistic business website. My site includes a homepage, service breakdown, contact form with input validation, and an interactive cost calculator, built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Through this experience, I strengthened my front-end development skills, improved my ability to create user-focused design, and learned how to manage the full process of delivering a working product. This project also helped me practice translating real-world business ideas into functional, presentable web solutions, an essential skill for professional roles in tech and business.

MIS2402-PRO-POINTS-PROJECT/Wrestlezone Arcade Website
For this project, I designed and developed a multi-page website for a fictional business called WrestleZone Arcade, which combines a retro arcade experience with professional wrestling-themed events and memorabilia. The site includes an interactive party cost estimator built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. The project emphasizes user-friendly design, responsiveness, and clear navigation across four pages: Home, About, Gallery, and Contact. Each page contains relevant business information such as services, fees, operating hours, contact details, and location. The calculator allows users to estimate event costs based on inputs like guest count, event duration, and optional add-ons. Website Design Project – MIS 2402
This project was for my MIS 2402 class in which we were tasked to utilize all of the skills we learned within our time this semester, including frameworks/libraries such as Bootcamp, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery. I created a website for a fictional business that dealt with pet grooming, which helped me reinforce key concepts that we learned in class.
I created a landing page and four additional pages to simulate a business’ website, with the four additional pages linking to ‘About Me’, ‘FAQ’, ‘Portfolio’, and ‘Cost Calculation’ sections separate from the landing page itself. I utilized all the aforementioned skills to create these pages, with the ‘Cost Calculation’ page featuring jQuery as the building blocks for the script.
2402 PRO points website
I created a website for an imaginary business using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills I learned in MIS 2402, Web Application Development, with Laurel Miller. The website contains an index and about page, as well as price estimate calculator, reservation, and contact us pages. The website is accessible through misdemo at https://misdemo.temple.edu/tuq27668j/2402_PRO_points/index.html. Through the project I was able to experiment and put the information I learned through the course to practical use, taking inspiration from class activities and assignments to build a functioning website.
CJ’s Boxing Gym
The created website is comprised of four linked HTML files that also incorporate CSS for aesthetics and JavaScript for functionality. The website is designed to mimic the home website of a boxing gym and includes both image and hyperlink tags in JavaScript. The website also includes a built-in calculator to calculate the cost of both a gym membership and boxing classes.
