Academic History

I attended Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia PA where I was a member of the National Honor Society (secretary), the school newspaper (editor), Mathletes, the Athletic Association and played volleyball, bowling and lacrosse.

During my time at Little Flower, I graduated within the top 2% of my class, attained the Highest Average in Math Award, and earned the Scholar Athlete Award.

Additionally, throughout high school, I was a part of Girl Scouts and Venture Crew, which is a co-ed branch of Boy Scouts.

During my time at Temple University, so far, I immersed myself into the student professional organization (SPO) for actuarial science and risk management majors called Gamma Iota Sigma where I aim to become an officer in the upcoming semester.  I am also involved with Temple’s outdoor club and intramural volleyball.

So far, I have been on the dean’s list for the Spring of 2012-present and membership with academic distinction in Gamma Iota Sigma from 2012-present.

Now that I declared my second major as Management Information Systems (MIS), I have immersed myself into their student professional organization, Association for Information Systems (AIS).  This has given me the opportunity to learn more about the IT industry and strengthen my passion of information systems.

Some of my favorite and most informative classes I’ve taken at Temple thus far include:

  • Data Analytics
  • Enterprise IT Architecture
  • Information Systems in Organization
  • Actuarial Modeling 1
  • Casualty Contingencies
  • Actuarial Probability and Statistics
  • Intermediate Statistics
  • Intro to Risk Management
  • Theory of Interest
  • Corporate Finance for Actuarial Science
