Internship 2014
During the summer of 2014, I interned for one of the big four accounting consulting firms, Ernst & Young. My experience at EY was nothing less than exceptional! I got to meet several industry professionals and work as if I was a first or second year full-time employee with the firm. My work specifically centered around EY’s Financial services (FSO) IT Risk Advisory (ITRA) department, where I:
- Assisted an external audit of an investment banks’s IT processes and controls.
- Presented to EY ITRA partners pertaining to an IT hot topic and provided insight on services EY can offer to help our clients with that specific topic.
- Networked with EY professionals from all different service lines at all different levels and from all different cities.
I learned so much about the professional work environment and how to succeed in it! I am extremely grateful for my summer experience with EY and I cannot wait to join the firm full-time in 2015!
