Managing Innovation
I finished the course “Managing Innovation,” which was created to address the unpredictability of innovation in organizations and offer systematic approaches to successfully managing innovation initiatives, in the fall of 2024. Jim Belfiore, an innovation expert, gave this course, which exposed me to many levels and approaches of innovation while highlighting how crucial it is to frame the proper problems in order to provide significant solutions. I obtained practical experience using methods like value engineering, TRIZ, crowdsourcing, and brainstorming to produce creative ideas. I also learned how to evaluate competitive landscapes and conduct research and validation of concepts. With the ability to drive innovation and produce competitive products in a methodical and significant manner, this expertise immediately supports my objective of pursuing a career in product development within the management information systems industry.
