Project Management Skills for Leaders
I completed the LinkedIn Learning course titled Project Management Skills for Leaders by Dana Brownlee in Summer 2024. This course taught me that project management skills are valuable for anyone aiming to lead effectively, especially in roles requiring coordination and planning. As an MIS major aspiring to become a UX designer, I found the principles of organizing tasks, setting realistic timelines, and managing risk particularly relevant. I now appreciate the importance of kickoff meetings for aligning team goals and setting clear roles, which will be essential for my future projects. I plan to apply these skills in my coursework and upcoming capstone project to foster a more organized and productive workflow.
