The trickiest thing about making an ERD from a problem description is figuring out the cardinality. There is an unclear answer in a complex scenario. The best way to handle this is draw a basic relationship between entities, go back and forth with each option, and add the option on ERD by finding logical and weighting it.

I work as an intern at a small accounting firm. I enter transactions from clients’ bank accounts to Quickbook called batch. After completing 12 month bank statements, we conduct Annual Profit and Loss reports that use like information to start to do tax returns for clients.
