- This webinar detailed the topic of DDOS attacks and how important it is to protect against them. The main aim of a DDOS attack is to overwhelm the server which can be detrimental to companies as this can result in lost revenue, angry customers, and damage to its reputation. This is why DDOS protection is so important since it can prevent malicious traffic and limit the overall impact of the attack while still allowing a normal flow of traffic to the server. The webinar also talked about the difference in attacks, how each attack disables resources, and other topics pertaining to DDOS.

- This webinar relates back to my coursework since I am currently taking a cybersecurity course. The webinar helped me better understand the material that I am being taught in this course and enables me to see a different perspective on cybersecurity attacks as a whole. In regard to my career, there is a good chance that I will be dealing with an issue similar to this nature so knowing what to look out for and potential ways to solve this issue are good assets for me to have.
