The most important thing I learned from this class is that data can be used in many ways. Data can be visualized, help draw connections and relationships with other data, and help predict future outcomes for businesses.

For Facebook, the columns can be what the user’s posts, how many things they share, how many posts they like and comment.
The rows would be the user accounts. -

One example of a KPI I use is my credit card (Discover) account and my credit card score. My Discover card gives me a free credit score every month.
Specific and Measurable- Tells me specifically how much money I need to pay off and the other financial activities that are still processing.

I have not worked with Excel as much as other people but I do think that number 3 is the most important to avoid. A lot of times I make sure to save my Excel file at least every 20 minutes before I continue working. I am always scared that I will forget to save my work. I think simplifying is the most important for data visualization. No one should present a data visualization that is complicated and time consuming to understand. There are many other tasks to work on than looking at a data visualization for an hour.
