I attended Opportunity Knocks: Strengthen Your Personal Brand, a pre‑approved external professional development event sponsored by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. As a Temple Fox student in MIS who is a panelist in the webinar, I listened and engaged in small‑group discussions that helped me articulate myself. Through interactive sessions on refining my resume to highlight core strengths, I learned solid strategies for building a consistent, persistent, and memorable personal brand. I also learned that advice on how to stand out against applicants is to be yourself, because everyone is different. this experience directly aligns with my career goal of becoming a competitive candidate in Management Information Systems, by preparing me with the communication skills and digital‑branding techniques that help to present my skills and professional accomplishments clearly and confidently to future employers.
