Interesting article on Dynamics – I like this quote: “Visual indicators can now be used to identify customers that have exceeded their credit limit, meanwhile, and new native workflows have been added to manage accounts payable transactions.” I am not surprised that MS doesn’t dominate, but act a s a major player

Great article and questions, Elizabeth! I think my ultimate customer experience does not include human interaction, which may be sad… I prefer to complete my research online and then make the final decision and purchase on my own!

Great look into Amazon’s fulfillment center, Andrew! This is a great way to break it down: “The FC is the anchor of Amazon’s physical operations, the brick and mortar behind the virtual button you tap on your phone to summon a watch or a shirt or a garden hose or Cards Against Humanity or just about anything else to your doorstep.” Your q…[Read more]

Nice article on the changes needed to continue the success of the ERP in the future. The focus was that ERPs had to be functional – now companies need to ensure that the ERPs are not only functional but easy to use and collaborative as well. THere is a lot of room to grown in that area!

This sort of sums everything up – “I think people are starting to realize this is the future of building consumer devices,” he says. “But it involves big challenges at the intersection of optics, electronics, algorithms, and understanding the human visual system.” This technology is amazing but hard to wrap your head around – so to speak! I’d be…[Read more]

Very cool explanation on AI and the pros and cons! I like this: An important aspect of any AI system that interacts with people is that it must reason about what people intend rather than carrying out commands in a literal manner. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on AI and how we can use it in the future!

I think it is becoming increasingly important for companies to bridge the gap and make data available and usable to the management – as we saw in Chapter 1, IT is always evolving and this evolution of analytics should enable the end users to be more powerful and make better decisions. Great article on what is coming!
