Both SCM and CRM are important, however the need for one system or the other depends on the type of business you have. CRM would be better for a smaller business, one that is trying to get its name out. My major is accounting, so having good data is pertinent. It is important at all times, but especially during tax season. The most interesting fact to me was that when going for a degree, the information learned in the first year will be outdated by the third year of study. It is a testament to how fast changing information is and the amount of work and research being put in by people now is staggering.
