I think CRM is more important for a business. Relationships with customers are the most valuable thing to a business. Being able to manage this effectively gives you a huge boost. These relationships will create new ones that last a long time.

I like that people are finding ways to make cars drive themselves. I think the change will reduce the number of accidents and traffic jams by a ton. I think it’s going to change how people get licensed to drive and insurance rates. Driverless cars are definitely the innovation I’m most excited about.

I’m a marketing major so having valid and accurate data is important especially when working with a large group of customers. Good data will let us know what we are doing wrong or wasting resources on. It let’s us focus on the marketing aspects that matter. Bad data can mislead the company and cause even more confusion.

I really liked the “10 million Self-Driving Cars will be on the Road by 2020” part. I think that it’ll save a lot of people from car accidents by controlling the vehicles. I think it was learning how the guy talks and how he chatted online. The conversations they started having seemed kind of real. It also showed this learning during the phone call where it learned more of his patterns. I feel like AI are getting pretty close to being able to virtually mimic a real person based on how well they’re programmed.

As a marketing major it is important to keep track of your clients and campaigns. Having the right data in accessible places is important so that we know which tactics are working. Without keeping track of our data, we may waste valuable time and resources trying out poor strategies.

I could see decision trees helping me plan out my week. A lot of times I have to decide whether or not to schedule clients on certain days. If I have tests or quizzes then I won’t schedule on that day. The decision tree would help me decide what to do with my time.

I currently work as a tutor and a personal trainer. I’d probably prefer ERD over SWIM just because SWIM looks weird and my freelancing isn’t that complicated. If I ever expanded into something bigger I might use SWIM. I don’t see myself using either in the future though.
