Apple Expert
August 2011 – October 2012
I was employed at BestBuy in Springfield PA from August 2011 through October 2012. During my time at BestBuy I moved up to the title Apple Expert in the computer department. I was in charge of all the Apple products’ functionality and sales in our store. I would sell various Apple products including non-Apple products generating up to $20,000 in total revenue a week. I trained 8 computer sales associates annually on all existing and new Apple products and how to demonstrate their specific functions to customers.
From working at BestBuy I learned many life-long skills such as customer service, how to treat a customer with respect even if they won’t show me the same respect. Another skill I learned was to sell. From a lot of training I learned how to sell a main product but then attach many other products that will help the customer keep their investment protected or enhance its abilities.
