I have been employed at the Springfield Swim Club from August 2009 to Present. The highest title I received working at Springfield Swim Club was Assistant Manager from May 2013 to present. Upon being appointed assistant manager my duties consisted of number one leading a team of lifeguards to provide a safe environment for all members, which meant monitoring 200-250 swimmers daily and monitoring pool chemical levels. I was in charge of 4-10 lifeguards at a time and delegated tasks to everyone to keep the pool a safe and clean environment.
Working for the Springfield Swim Club taught me how to react in high-pressured situations and know exactly what must be done. Being assistant manager gave me the ability to supervise younger guards and teach them the importance of the job. From being assistant manager I learned how to manage 4-10 guards at a time and delegate tasks that must be done to keep the pool in order.
