Project Leader & Administrative Assistant Intern

LOGOS Signage is an Indonesia-based signage company which helps clients to design, manufacture, and install commercial or public display signs (known as signage). I spent the Spring and Summer of 2016 interning with LOGOS Signage in Jakarta, Indonesia. I started off as the Administrative Assistant. After 2 months, I was promoted to be the Project Leader for one of its largest projects involving international clients for another 4 months. My responsibilities included:
Project Leader (March – June 2016)
- Led a sky signage installation project worth $100,000 for a Fortune 500 company
- Directed the process of drafting and revising tender documents involving representatives from Australia, Singapore, and Indonesia that resulted in the company winning the tender against 7 other companies
- Served as a liaison between foreign clients and Indonesian manufacturing department to bridge language barrier
Administrative Assistant (January – February 2016)
- Automated former process of data entry by setting up database for 2 departments and 300+ clients
- Established accounting spreadsheet to strategically prioritize account receivable collection of $40,000 every month
- Coordinated informal training for administration department to learn database maintenance and Excel functions
