Figma Essential Training: The Basics

Details of the Activity: Instructor Brian Wood teaches the basics of Figma, a collaborative interface design tool.
What I Learned: I learned the skills needed to design a UX project in Figma. There are many ways to create content in the program. You can draw shapes, add images, effects, and text. Wood also taught how to utilize features like layering, formatting, and preparing for prototype testing. I also learned a lot of the keyboard shortcuts that can be used within the program for quick editing.
Relation to Coursework: This Figma course will help me create my second project for MIS 3506: User Experience Design. We will be using Figma to design a website in our second semester project, so I will be able to apply the skills I learned from this activity.
