Details: This was a virtual event hosted by Prudential Financial on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 3PM.
What I learned: During this webinar, I learned about some of the technology that is currently used by Prudential employees. The panelists introduced us to the software they use everyday to improve their work and collaborate with others. In addition, the panelists shared some of their day-to-day functions and how their teams usually go about projects using an agile structure. I learned a lot about the importance of each member of the scrum team and what project timelines typically look like.
Relation to Career Goals: This webinar is closely related to my career goals because I look forward to working in tech. I was interested in attending this event because it was hosted by women in the department of Prudential that I am interested in joining. I wanted to hear their stories and listen to them share about what it is like being a woman in a male-dominated industry.
