Thinkful Webinar | Becoming a UX/UI Designer Info Session
This webinar covers the topic of UX/UI: what it\’s all about, how it came about, and the career prospect in the field. Other than its promising career prospect, I learned that UX/UI roles in some companies can be combined with Product Manager, although the role of a Product Manager typically encompasses more than just UX/UI. I also learned that UX and UI are two different things, as UX is about how things work, whereas UI is about how things look. Lastly, I learned about the importance of having some sort of a portfolio to showcase employers when we are interviewing for UX/UI positions. I have always been interested in visual design and I have foundational skills in some Adobe software, so UX/UI is definitely a career option that I would be interested in and worth learning more about.
